Art and Play are used in therapy with the idea that creative expression can foster healing and mental well-being!

Whether we are look at art or creating art, it is helpful in exploring emotions, developing self-awareness, cope with stress, boost self esteem and work on social skills. The goal of Art Therapy is to utilize the creative process to help people explore self-expression and, in doing so, find new ways to gain personal insight and develop new coping skills.

Therapeutic play helps anyone with social or emotional deficits learn to communicate better, change their behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and relate to others in positive ways.

Clients who have experienced emotional trauma, physical violence, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, and other psychological issues can benefit from expressing themselves creatively
