If this sounds familiar…. highly sensitive, gets upset easily, extreme emotional reactions, have difficulty calming down. And, you may be walking on eggshells or fear the reaction from your teen getting triggered….. THEN DBT may be right for your teen!!

DBT is an evidence-based, cognitive behavioral therapy that has been shown to be effective in helping teens in these areas:

  • Mindfulness - Develop awareness of emotions in the present moment

  • Emotional Regulation - Learn concrete coping strategies for those Big Emotions

  • Distress Tolerance - Getting through difficult situations without making it worse

  • Interpersonal Effectiveness - Learn to communicate their needs clearly and create positive relationships, increasing self respect and fostering healthy self-esteem

Groups are weekly and 90 minutes in length

Middle School - 12-14y/o High School - 14-17y/o Young Adult - 18-22y/o
